She sent him a message on instagram, and the rest is history.
It was instant chemistry and these lovebirds have been together for 4 years and married almost a year in November!
Hi Jenta! Thank you so much for asking me to be a part of this! Here are the answers to your questions!
Where and how did you meet?
We both went to the same college in Kentucky, but never really knew each other while we were both at school together. (He is 2 years younger than me) When i graduated from college he still had a year left but had recently gotten out of a long term relationship. I was hesitant to reach out to him because I didn't know if he would be interested in dating at all at that point. But I took a leap of faith and messaged him on instagram! Yes i slid into his DMs lol! The rest is history! We've been together for 4 years and married almost a year in November!
How did the relationship start?
It was honestly so natural. We both felt an instant connection and knew this is who we were supposed to be with. We went on a few dates before we officially were together but it really didn't take long after meeting each other to know we wanted to be together. It was instant chemistry.
How are you dealing with the crazy fans?
Luckily the fans aren't too crazy when it comes to Timothy. There are a few here and there that will message him on social media or come up to him at gigs but he is pretty quick to shut anything down that may not be appropriate. He appreciates all his fans and all the love he gets from people. Most of the time they love to hear about our love story since he has written a few songs about us!
Tell me about a typical day together Everyday is honestly different. My schedule stays the same throughout the week. I work in admissions for a state college. Tim's schedule is different from day to day because he does music full time. He will have gigs on some days and co-write on other days but we always try to make time to see each other as much and as often as we can! We strive to always have dinner together and at least be able to catch up with one another about how our day went. I am usually up and out of the house before he is even awake. But we make sure we always tell each other goodbye and I love you before we leave to go anywhere!
Tell me about the day before a concert
Timothy usually has different gigs around Nashville every week so that has kind of become part of our normal routines. If I can make it a gig, depending on my work schedule, I love to be there to enjoy a beer and get to watch my husband do what he loves to do. He has a few things he always does before a gig to make sure he is ready to go. He gets his voice ready, makes sure he drinks plenty of water throughout the day, and never eats anything really heavy before he goes to sing.
Do you ever feel the music is taking too much time?
I never feel like it's taking up too much time. Timothy is really great about balancing things out so that we do get to enjoy a lot of time together. I also know that doing music professionally has been his dream for a very long time and I'm happy to support that dream because it's what makes him happy and I know he would do the same for me!
What´s your favorite song by him and why? Love you more- It's the song that he wrote for me on our wedding day. He played it at our reception and there wasn't a dry eye anywhere. I sobbed like a big baby. Its the sweetest song he's ever written for me and it truly captures how we feel about one another. It has so much meaning because it was an extension of his wedding vows to me and i will cherish it forever.
A little video of their wedding day.Warning: Really emotional!
What was your first impression about your partner?
My first impression of Timothy was there is no way someone is this genuine and kind. I have never met someone with so much talent yet he is completely and wholeheartedly as humble as they come. He will put everyone before himself, even people he barely knows. He is hilarious and so easy going. He truly is the best person to be around.
Biggest fear of yours?
I don't know that I have a fear really. I pray for Timothy's success because it's ultimately his life dream to make it in the music industry. And I know he has the talent to do so. I guess it could be considered a fear that it may not work out but I like to think that it will and he will be able to live out that dream!
What is your best advice to girls who have a man in music business? Have trust in your partner. Without trust you have nothing. Especially if your significant other is out on the road or away from home a lot you need to trust one another as well as having great communication skills. If something is bothering you, speak up and talk about it. You can't read each other's minds and it's important to get your feelings out to your partner in order to listen, learn, and work towards a resolution. Ultimately you guys are a team and want what's best for the both of you. Work together to achieve your goals and make the life you really want happen!.
xoxo,
